FINAL FANTASY ‘REQUIEM’ - BTS DAY 1
Shoot day 1 was the main scene filmed in Rosario town square in Croatia.
Multiple casting sessions were held by three agents across Europe, with the hero talent (Clive Rosefield) played by French actor Manuel Severi, with the other on-camera principles cast from Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. An additional 100 local Croatian’s were cast as scene extras.
The extensive period wardrobe was created with Division Film’s local costume designer spending four days in Madrid sourcing wardrobe and pre-fitting mannequins. Many of the final outfits were a combination of these costumes (1300 kgs of wardrobe in total) with local custom-made additions. Final fittings were held in Ljubljana.

Shoot day 2 covered two scenes. Firstly, the fortress shots which were captured in St Nikola, situated on a remote island, only accessible by boat from Pakoštane beach. There were no facilities or power available to the production, who set up a large boat to transport key equipment, keeping the main base on the mainland, and also using three smaller shuttle boats for the crew.
The production team then moved on to shoot day and night footage in the ?? forest, 45 minutes away.

Shoot day 3, the final location was filmed at deserted quarry Perun Zrnovica at Podstrana, capturing the children’s choir at sunset and the dragon fighting scenes. The director, Diego, also managed to film one final cliff shot with a small crew at the end of the day, after the production had officially wrapped!
